Leadership Formation and Development, Spiritual Direction and Facilitation

Bridget Deegan-Krause, MDiv, BCC, BDK Collaborative

I have been a minister in Catholic institutions for over 20 years. I come out of a clinical background in health care chaplaincy, and in recent years have moved into mission and ministry leadership formation, mostly in faith-based health care and higher education.  I provide consultation, coaching and facilitation with a wide variety of leaders and am sought out to work with those who desire to deepen a sense of mission by attending to their spiritual well-being.  I hold a Master of Divinity degree from the University of Notre Dame with a BA in the Classics.  I am a certified Chaplain and former elected Trustee with the National Association of Catholic Chaplains.  I have long served in leadership within the profession of Chaplaincy, helping in the formation of professional standards and ethics.  I have been the keynote speaker for variety of regional and national groups, including the Catholic Health Association, and have conducted interdisciplinary research and published articles in the Catholic Health Association’s journal, Health Progress, and the NACC’s professional journal, Vision, as well as on a variety of on-line spiritual formation sources.  My consulting firm, BDK Collaborative LLC, formed in 2010, explores Spirituality as a Resource for Leadership, and serves as a professional home for consulting, coaching, facilitation and interdisciplinary work.

I help equip strong and effective mission-focused leaders for the future. I know from experience that those who are most fruitful in their leadership over the longer haul are serious about self-care and pay close attention to their spirituality.  As a coach and spiritual director for groups and teams, I help leaders take a deeper dive into an individual and shared sense of mission, integrating leadership development, educational and ministry formation efforts.

Consider the value of consulting with a trusted and experienced guide who can help you integrate spirituality into your organization in a meaningful and lasting way.
